Ode to things
Here I present you with my site. It’s basically a video portfolio for old video works that I think may be interesting to some and since they already exist on the web they make for good, linkable content for my site. I feel like my code is very basic and straight forward. The only thing that exists in my code that was not shown in RJ’s demo was how to change the background of the site to a color, in this case black. I had a few issues early on when coding. Particularly when using images, in my case .jpg’s, to link video files and by not paying attention closely to my syntax it caused my links to fail. But after a little trial and error I was able to get everything to work properly. I am surprised to see how much you can do with such simple code and I am looking forward to more of this in the future.
